Anything you tell an insurance company can be used against you at a later date.

If you have been injured or damaged by the conduct of another person, a business, the police, the government, or another legal entity, please contact me to discuss your case.

When an insurance company learns of your claim or injury, they will contact you quickly. The insurance company has two goals. The first goal is to convince or allow you to give a statement that they can use as a justification for not paying you anything for your injuries. The insurance company would love for you to say something that will enable them to blame you entirely for your injuries. The second goal is to get you to agree to a settlement for less than what you may be owed before you can contact an attorney. Insurance companies are in the business of collecting premium payments and paying as little out on claims as they can without incurring additional legal liability for bad faith. Anything you tell an insurance company can (and they hope will) be used against you at a later date. There is no guarantee in any case or legal dispute.

Building a strong and honest relationship with an attorney you trust and you can reach and honestly communicate with is imperative. All consultations are free, and if you find yourself ultimately unsatisfied with our consultation or representation, I will help you find another attorney you feel more comfortable with. I typically consult and/or work with experienced outside counsel on injury and property damage cases.
